Flight: Transit from Ho Chi Minch city to Da Nang International Airport. The distance in between two terminal is quite far, suggest to have at least 2 hours in order to complete the transit.

Sim Card: I chose Vinaphone and it works well in Da Nang and Hoi An city. According to the staff, Vinaphone will be weak at Halong Bay. The price is reasonable, just VND 100K. Here’s the comparison in between Vinaphone and Viettel.

Hoi An Ancient Town
Formerly known as Fai-Fo or Faifoo, with a population of approximately 120K in Vietnam’s Quang Nam Province. A city on Vietnam’s central coast known for its well-preserved Ancient Town-a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Joining Hoi-An-Ancient-Walking-Tour-Boat-Ride can help us to know more about the history of Hoi An.

1. Hoi An Night Market

occupying Nguyen Hoang Street, consists of over 50 local vendors selling a variety of local snacks trinkets, clothing, jewellery and clothing. It occupies a 300-metre-long street that overlooks Thu Bon River and illuminated by hundreds of colourful lanterns.

2. Hoi An Ancient Town

Located at Hoi An Town, Quang Nam Province. Entrance fee of VND 120K for foreign tourists and VND 80K for locals. Each ticket is valid for 10 days and covers entrance to entrance Hoi An Ancient Town. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. Mix of ornate Chinese temples, a Japanese-design bridge, wooden shop houses, and old canals.

3.Japanese Covered Bridge

One of the most prominent attraction in Hoi An Ancient Town, which dates back to the 18th century. Spanning 18 metres in length, locals believe that it was built by the Japanese then living in Hoi An as a way to reach the Chinese quarter across the river. The Japanese Covered Bridge also features intricate sculptures of two dogs and two monkeys to represent the birth years of prominent Japanese Emperors.

4. Hoi An Riverside

Best known for its lively bars, bistros and restaurants. There are plenty of local boats to charter at the docks, which you can hire for a day of fishing or cruising along the tranquil river.

5. Fujian Assembly Hall

Constructed in 1690. A symbolic icon of Hoi An architecture and Fujian artistry, boasting beautiful statues of Buddhist deities, altars adorned with delicate carvings of dragons, bronze bells drums, and lacquered artwork. There is also a fertility shrine where childless couples pray in hopes of conceiving.

6. Precious Heritage Art Gallery Museum ( by Rehahn )

Da Nang
A coastal city in central Vietnam known for its sandy beaches and history as a French colonial port.

Highlights of Da Nang: There’s a HAI-VAN-PASS-Sea-andCloud-MountainMONKEY-MOUNTAIN-andMARBLE-MOUNTAIN-Private-Tour with link, all attractions are located far away from each other. I suggest to book this tour in order to save the time for changing transportation during the trip.


1. Marble Mountains

A cluster of five limestone and marble hills located in Ngu Hanh Son District, about 9km south of Da Nang. Named after natural elements, the peaks are individually known as Thuy Son (water), Moc Son (wood), Hoa Son (fire), Kim Son (metal) and Tho Son (earth).

Should allow up to 4 hours to explore all Marble Mount. so is good to start early when the weather is not too hot. To advise wearing comfortable shoes.

Travelers can climb more than 150 steps that lead to the summit of Thuy Son, where the incredible views of natural landscapes as well as access to these grottoes.

We can explore Huyen Kong and Tang Chon,

as well as Tam Thai Pagoda, which was built in 1825.

These ancient religious monuments showcase the region’s age-old tradition of stone craving, thanks to relief work chipped away from the mountain’s marble façade.

2. Son Tra (Monkey) Mountain

The Linh Ung Pagoda, which is also set on Son Tra Mount. The stunning pagoda was built during 18th century and houses a 67 metre-tall white statue of the Goddess of Mercy, which is set atop a lotus-shaped platform. Hailed is the tallest statue of deity in South East Asia. There are 17 levels within the structure and a total of 21 miniature Buddha sculptures.

3. Hai Van Pass

(Vietnamese: Deo Hai Van,”ocean cloud pass) is an approximately 21km long mountain pass on National Route 1A in Vietnam. It traverses a spur of the larger Annamite Range that juts into the East Sea of Vietnam. Its name refers to the mists that rise from the sea, reducing visibility.

The 25 km-long mountain pass is popular amongst thrill-seeking motorcyclists due to its winding roads, sudden curves and blind corners, while its lookout point offers gorgeous views of Da Nang Bay. Aside from requiring the use of a powerful bike, do note that Hai Van Pass motorcycle tours can be challenging for new riders except uphill slopes, an average temperature of 17’C and rainy weather if you are travelling between Sept and Mar.

The pass also hosts the ancient Tran Dynasty’s Hai Van Gate, Hai Van Tunnel (the longest in ASEAN), wartime gun towers, and a decrepit French-built fort that was later used as a bunker by South Vietnamese and US armies during the Vietnam War.

4. Dragon Bridge

A bridge ten time over the River Han at Da Nang, Vietnam. Xin Chao Bao Me. The construction of the bridge began on 19 Jul 2009 when the former Prime minister of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung and many high-ranking government officials attended the groundbreaking ceremony. Total length of the bridge is 666 metre. The bridge was opened to traffic on 29 Mar 2013.

The six-lane bridge crosses the Han River, serving as direct routes to My Khe Beach and Non Nuoc Beach as well as a popular spot amongst travellers. According to local beliefs, which date bacl to Ly Dynasty, dragon is a significant symbol of power, nobility and good fortune.

Dragon Bridge is illuminated with colourful LED lights in the evening. On weekends and annual festivities, the state-of-the-art bridge is also scheduled to spit water of breathe fire from its mouth from 9pm onwards.

5. “Hands of God” Golden Bridge

(Vietnamese: Cau Vang) is a 150 metre long pedestrian bridge in the Ba Na Hills resort, near Da Nang. It is designed to connect the cable car station with the gardens (avoiding a steep incline) and to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. The bridge loops nearly back around to itself, and has two giant stone hands designed to appear to support the structure.

The Ba Na Hills project was built by Sun Group, which has divided opinion with audacious projects elsewhere in Vietnam. Golden Bridge designer Anh said he already has another projects in the works: a silver bridge made to look like a god’s strand of hair that will connect to his existing structure in the Ba Na Hills.

6. My Khe Beach

Once listed in Forbes Magazine as one of the “World’s Most Luxurious Beaches”. The white sandy 20 mile stretch of My Khe Beach was named by the Americans troops who visited during the Vietnam War for R&R. It benefits from being perfectly located at the heart of World Heritage sites-the ancient port of Hoi An, the mysterious Phing Nga Caves, the home place of the Champa population and the revered imperial city of Hue are all easily accessible.

Sunbathing and surfing are what the travellers like most. The My Khe Beach area was first flung into the spotlight thanks to the My Khe Beach television show broadcast on America networks highlighting US Vietnam War soldiers enjoying rest and play in Da Nang. The beach became a well-known spot on the backpacker trail before heading upmarket to today’s more glamorous resort scene after the war.

My Khe Beach is also reaping the rewards of an increasing number of international flight connections from Singapore, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City to name a few.

4 days 3 night Da Nang and Hoi An trip just done in a clicks of eyes. Vietnam, will see you again!
